About Rev. Patricia
Rev. Patricia Hatch is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. She has a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts (psychology) undergraduate degree. She has also completed trainings to become a spiritual director as well as a group facilitator.
Rev. Patricia specializes in creating and leading personalized rites of passage ceremonies. She has a ministry to bereaved families and individuals, and works with them to create funerals and memorial services that best honor their loved ones. In her funeral ministry, she has been asked to lead services for people who died in tragic circumstances as well as double funerals. She has extensive experience in providing pastoral care. She also loves to officiate for joyful rites of passage ceremonies such as weddings, renewal of vows ceremonies, and baby dedications. Additionally, she can create a special ceremony for a more unusual occasion such as a house blessing, a pet blessing, etc.
Rev. Patricia has preached and led worship for over fifty congregations during the last eighteen years. She leads both traditional and innovative services. She is an inspirational preacher who often includes stories, poetry, and the playing of her singing bowl in services. Patricia is experienced in creating and leading workshops and retreats. A few of the workshops she has led include "Visioning for the Future," "Guided Meditation," "The Golden Rule in World Religions," and "Poetry as a Spiritual Practice."
